FRIGHTFEST 2025

It’s that time of year again! We’ve known that the dates  August 21st to the 25th were to be marked off on all our calendars, but the wait to find out what we were all actually in store for has now been revealed. FrightFest, now in its twenty-sixth year, has unveiled a programme of sixty-nine films to be played across seven screens in the Odeon Luxe at Leicester Square and Odeon Luxe West End. Kicking off with the UK premiere of THE HOME, starring Pete Davidson from  THE PURGE creator James DeMonaco, the packed line-up concludes five days later with the UK premiere of INFLUENCERS, the sequel to the Shudder hit from Kurtis David Harder. In between there is a veritable smorgasbord of premieres, including Macon Blair’s long-awaited remake of THE TOXIC AVENGER, while Joe Begos returns with alien invasion splatter fest JIMMY AND STIGGS. Also returning to the festival are the Adams Family, not that one, with MOTHER OF LIES while the much buzzed about multiverse saga REDUX REDUX also takes a bow on UK screens.

These are just a few of the highlights on offer. To check out the full list of genre films, documentaries, restorations, panels, short films and even animations on offer head on over to FrightFest’s website for the full programme and ticket information.

And don’t forget to come back here for up to date news, reviews and interviews.
